  • CAN I PLACE A LISTING IF NOT IN A SOUTHEAST STATE?
    Yes - just do it, but you won't get a map location, since you do not have a physical location in the Southeast. We will locate you as an Online Business. You can still list your address in the listing if you like. (Free listings are not available to companies not located in the southeast coastal states unless they have an ad in SOUTHWINDS Magazine. Paid-for listings are available.)

  • HOW MANY LISTINGS CAN I HAVE ON ONE ACCOUNT?
    Many at this point (contact us for how many), but all additional listings must be completely separate businesses. To keep your bookkeeping more organized, we suggest you have separate accounts for each listing, since invoicing will be to the account and not the listing. But each account must have separate emails associated with them. An email can only be associated with one account. Only one free listing per business. If you have a business that needs be listed in more than one category, you must purchase a paid listing. You can purchase as many paid listings as you want.

HOW TO CREATE/ADD A LISTING - Free or Paid

  1. First create an account: Click on ADD A LISTING - it will take you to the create-account page
  2. Create an account: The red asterisk (*) shows what is required. Add the rest of the info now or later, as you like.
  3. It's FREE to create an account and get a FREE listing. You pay for paid listings later. (FREE Listings are not available to companies not located in the southeast coastal states, unless they have an ad in SOUTHWINDS Magazine)
  4. Next choose a FREE or Paid listing. To compare Paid plans, click on Compare Plans for a comparison table, or CLICK HERE for an explanation of the plans
  5. After you've chosen a plan, you will first need to Choose a Category
  6. Then you need to input the listing information
  7. For help in filling out the details page, CLICK HERE
  8. For a FREE plan, your listing will be reviewed for appropriate content and posted. You will receive a confirmation email.
  9. For a Paid plan, you will taken to a payment page, where you can pay by credit card on our secure web page, or through Paypal. 
  10. After payment your listing will be reviewed for appropriate content and posted. You will receive a confirmation email.
  11. You will receive an invoice via email. The invoice will also be accessible in your account

HOW TO CLAIM AN EXISTING LISTING

  1. Find your listing through search. Fastest way is type one word in your company name in the keyword search
  2. When you find it, click on "See Details" and then click on Claim Listing.
  3. You will be taken to an account page where you have to create an account to claim a listing. You can fill out other details later if you choose to do so.
  4. As soon as you hit Submit in opening the account, you will automatically be taken back to a page asking you why you have a right to claim that listing
  5. If your reasons are accepted, you will notified and the listing is yours.
  6. If you already have an account and are logged in and click on Claim Listing, you will be automatically taken to the page asking why you have a right to claim that listing

HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR LISTING TO A BETTER PLAN

  1. Go to your account (it's automatic when you login).
  2. Click on "Current Listings - View/Edit"
  3. Click on the paper & pencil symbol (EDIT) of the listing you want to upgrade.
  4. You will be taken to that listing's Order Details page. In the right column, under Product/Service, click on "Change"
  5. Next click on "Listing" and it will give you the options for uprading. Click on the upgrade you want, then click on the small circle to upgrade. Click Submit
  6. You can then process your payment. You will have a choice.
  7. You will receive an email confirming the Upgrade. Then you will receive an email that payment received and that your listing is on it's new level and "Active"
  8. Go to your account, Click on "Current Listings - View/Edit" - and you can edit your upgraded listing. For help with editing,CLICK HERE
  9. After your new listing information has been approved for content, it will go public and you will receive an email confirmation.

HOW TO EDIT YOUR LISTING

  1. Go to your account (it's automatic when you login).
  2. Click on "Current Listings - View/Edit"
  3. Click on the paper & pencil symbol (EDIT - it's to the left of the big X) of the listing you want to upgrade.
  4. You will be taken to that listing's Order Details page. Click on "Edit" - it will take you to the editing page.
  5. If you need help filling out this page,Click Here (there is a link on the page also)
  6. After you hit Submit, the content will be reviewed and you will receive an email confirming the Upgrade.
  7. Before you receive the confirmation, you can still go in and edit it more. The page will reload for editing or you can go back to Current Listings on your account page.
